There is some inconsistency in the paperwork accounting for children. In 1909, Calvin and Jennie had a child die at birth. The birth certificate of that child says that she was the eighth child of the mother and that the mother had six children living. This is inconsistent with the 1910 Census in which Jennie states that she has had eight children of whom seven are living (Richard died in 1899) and, in fact, seven living children are listed. Since the youngest child, Marie, is four, this situation would have applied when the unnamed girl was born.
