Key West Day 3

Jump to first day of Key West

Day 3 was the Second Annual Cow Key Channel Run.  It’s an arduous 350′ dash with five heats divided into:

  1. Those actually serious about running (the smallest heat)
  2. Pets with humans
  3. Relay teams, given the strenuous nature of the event
  4. The Walking Cow Stampede (the largest heat)
  5. Those able to do nothing more than maintain forward momentum

We participated.  Fortunately, there was a water station halfway across the bridge.

Day 2 was basically one long bar crawl with some stops for some incredible tapas at Santiago’s Bodega as well as conch fritters and cracked conch at the Conch Shack.
