She retired from the Illinois Consolidated Telephone Company and attended the Moulton Methodist Church in Shelbyville.

At the time of her death and in addition to individuals found in the family tree, she was survived by a niece, Judy Dorminey and her husband, Don; a great-niece Wendy Brush and her husband, Bob, and their children, Cody and Katie.
